ALPHA and Bangkok Capital Alliance ("BCA") were established through a joint venture between GE and Goldman Sachs to be an NPL's servicing and NPL management platform, respectively.

ALPHA acted as a servicing platform for one of the commercial bank in Thailand managed c. 12,000 loans with an OPB of THB 80.0 bn scaling up the platform within 90 days and have the staff at a peak of 275 employees
BCA acquired and managed its own portfolio of approximately 14,000 loans with OPB of c. THB 210 bn and the staff at peak of 375 employees
2008
ALPHA was re-established as GE's new NPL platform in Thailand along with the Ratanarak Group, a prominent local family as its Thai Partners
2016
ALPHA was 100% acquired by SSG, an alternative asset management firm from Hong Kong
2017
ALPHA enter into the service agreement with WAMC to assist the company in sourcing and managing the NPL portfolios
ALPHA assists WAMC to acquire a total NPL portfolio with the OPB of THB 8.5 bn
2019
SSG established a strategic partnership with 9 Basil, a local investment firm who came in as 49% shareholder, while SSG maintained 51% stake in ALPHA
2021
SSG and 9 Basil together acquire 100% ownership in WAMC
Established ACPG and commence group restructuring to make ACPG become a holding company that holds two licensed AMCs
